On September 11, 2001, 19 Al Qaeda members took over four American civilian airlines. Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization headed by a man named Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden was the commander of the September 11 attack, but as everyone knows, many American citizens do not like it. Two of the hijacked airplanes hit the famous World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York, New York. After the second plane hit the South Tower, Americans were convinced that this was a terrorist attack.
Ten years after the attack on 11th September 2001, "Please remember the 9/11 incident" was repeated throughout the United States. For some of us, not just commemorating the tenth anniversary, some of us became a model that does not change our life structure. However, what is more important than remembering today is the legacy of 9/11. What I fear is the legacy of what I forget, not remember. As an American, we forgot that our country was founded, or no longer believed the principles that were considered. What is the reason for government checks and balance? Did you forget that revenge is not the same as justice?
