The Springfield metropolitan area has many forms of hurricane danger: strong winds, tornadoes and floods. This means your family must plan to include all these dangers. Carefully look at the safety measures associated with each type of hurricane risk and prepare your home disaster plan accordingly. However, this is just a guide. In the face of the threat of hurricane, the first and most important thing someone should do is to use common sense.

Please confirm that nothing is missing. Determine if a supplement kit is required. Hydration

If you do not have a power supply please call Eversource and call 781-4300 and report downtime. The automation system can guide you through the process

Please turn off the light (except one) and remove main equipment and electronic equipment to prevent the power supply from overloading when the power supply recovers.

Even if your neighbor is turned on but your authority is unavailable please call Eversource. There may be unknown damage

Please prepare to provide your account number, name, phone number and address, and intersection

If you listen to something unusual, you can see the accident, tell them they can see the sparks or you can know the fallen trees and poles near you. This information is useful when recovering power, so please be as specific as possible

The first person who sees a fire or listens to a smoke detector urges everyone in the building and call the fire department. Tell the fire department the address, place, fire type, and person's name of the fire department. All passengers need to evacuate in an orderly manner through the nearest and most dangerous exit. There are two exits on the front and back of the building. Every official must find two fire extinguishers in the building and learn how to use them. Physically and mentally healthy children are first reviewed and screened for proper medical history and physical examination. Maximize understanding by assigning person in charge of fire department as operation dispatcher of communication system of fire department. The Montgomery County (MD) Fire and Rescue Team uses cross-training firefighters to dispatch firefight and emergency medical units. These people have the same level of training and experience as their site counterparts and ensure that communication personnel understand the complex internal activities of fire and emergency situations.
